The Palais de Justice overlooks place Poelaert and remains a working courthouse. Restoration is taking place in phases: the Régie des Bâtiments announced completion of the front façade restoration on 27 August 2026, with finishing work and other façades still on the programme. It would therefore be inaccurate to describe the entire building as fully restored or to treat an old scaffolding photograph as a current view. For a walk, explore the area around place Poelaert; entering the courthouse requires checking official instructions and access arrangements.
